You can begin and end the sport with stretching every time. Light stretching will heat up the muscles before exercising and relaxing the muscles afterward. You should try stretching the calves. You can do so by standing one arm from the wall and position the right foot behind the left foot. Then, you can bend your left leg forward, but let your right leg straight and steady on the floor. You need to hold for about 30 seconds and then replace with the other foot.
Then, you can also stretch your hamstring. To do so, you need to lie on the floor by the wall or door frame and then raise your left foot and place your heel on the wall. Straighten your legs until you feel the stretching behind your thighs. Hold for about 30 seconds and then stretch the other legs. Other than those, you also need to do some other stretching techniques such as hip stretching and shoulder stretching.
You can do to the gym 3 to 5 times per week. You may do the exercises there for half to one hour by combining the cardio program and strength training.
